Meditation App Minimal Logo Design

The Icon

Since Kittl has plenty of minimalist design icons suitable for a logo, finding the perfect shape to represent a meditation app will be easy. Coming up with design inspiration will be the harder part.

But once you have that, Kittl will provide everything else.

You'll find the icons in the "Add Elements" menu. For the theme of meditation, we picked a minimalist lotus design. Of course, the icon isn't realistic – it has three petals in the front and the tips of two more in the back.

This icon is ideal due to its simplicity and the abundance of white space that gives it an airy feel. It will be a good foundation for the minimalist logo design.

The Text

To keep everything simple, we decided not to overthink the logo text. Since our icon is a lotus, we picked the same name for the fictional meditation app – Lotus.

The font choice is even more important than the word itself in minimalist logo design. Since serifs tend to make the logo more detailed and traditional-looking, we'll use precisely that font type.

We chose the Cal Sans font for its rounded features and bold style. Then, we went back to the icon and increased its border width to match the thickness of the font.

If you've been following along with this logo design tutorial, you should have a black logo on a white background. Let's change that by adding some calming dark blue and light purple colors to the background and turning the logo white.

Bike Shop Minimal Logo Design Tutorial

The Icon

We'll start the bike shop design with a minimal logo icon of a bicycle. The logo design we're using is a pre-loaded icon.

We inserted a rectangle from the "Basic Shapes" section in the "Add Elements" menu. This will serve as the background for the icon. Stretch the rectangle to cover the bicycle, then change its color to orange and the icon to white.

Move the two elements together to the left side of the canvas. Then, select the rectangle, copy, and paste it. Position the copy next to the original rectangle and make it longer – this will be the background for the text. Color that background black.

The Text

For this minimalist logo, we came up with a company named Gear 7. This is the text we'll be adding to the final product.

A more robust font seemed like a good fit for a bike shop logo. We went with the Contour font which has geometric shapes similar to a bicycle. The letter color for "Gear" was changed to white, while we gave "7" the same orange shade as the first rectangle.

To finalize this minimalist logo, we gave it a gradient background in shades of gray with golden lines. The different colors will make the minimal logo more lively without disturbing the minimal logo design.

Vintage Goods Minimal Graphic Design

The Icon

Let's go with something different for the last minimal logo. We'll create an icon similar in style to other logos – the difference will come later with the text.

Our minimalist logo design will start with an icon in the shape of a fox. The icon we chose is somewhat playful and reflects the nature of a vintage goods store. Unlike the previous logo design, we won't be creating a frame for the icon. Instead, we'll use the text for that purpose.

The Text

The text for this logo design will be "Sly Fox Rare Goods." We'll split it into two parts – "Sly Fox" and "Rare Goods," both in the Moche font. The first part will be larger and go on top of the icon, while the second, smaller part will go under.

We'll use the "Circle" text effect to make a round text frame around the image. To wrap up this minimal logo, we'll change the color of both elements to a faded red.
