How is Kittl different from Canva?
Kittl takes advanced design functionality (similar to what you find in Adobe Illustrator) and makes it simplified for any level of experience. While Canva is geared toward a simplified functionality, corporate focused projects, Kittl's capabilities and extensive libraries are full of easy to use, yet advanced style tools for the graphic designer. Our licensing is also much simpler, allowing you personal, commercial, and commission license to use everything with any subscription.
Kittl Vs. Canva Licensing
We make licensing simple. Everything you search and use in our elements panel, fonts, or otherwise is under the same single license for all of Kittl, which is personal, commercial, and commission license for your projects. In addition, anything you generate with Kittl AI can be sold or trademarked by you (for Pro and Expert accounts). To learn more, watch this video.
Does Kittl have a desktop and mobile app?
Kittl works right in your web browser. At this time there is no downloadable version of Kittl.
Does the Free plan have a commercial license to use designs I make?
Yes. All three subscription plans have personal and commercial licenses for everything you create.
How is Kittl different from other design tools?
Many design tools require hours of learning to master them and use them efficiently, but Kittl breaks this barrier between software and design and makes it easy for anyone to bring their ideas to life. We've simplified advanced graphic features like transforming text, adding texture, creating decorative elements, and much more. How many fonts does Kittl have? Can I upload my own fonts?
There are hundreds of fonts on Kittl from you to choose from, including 90+ exclusive custom fonts made by our team. You also have the ability to upload your own fonts, including various weights and styles.
Does Kittl work on an iPad?
Yes, Kittl currently works on iPads and tablets in your browser, and it is optimized from Chrome. We will have a full app in the future.
Can I trademark designs made with Kittl?
If you are using Kittl assets, illustrations, and fonts, you are not allowed to trademark or copyright any design made within Kittl. Everyone with a Kittl account has the same license to use our assets and fonts. If you are solely using custom-uploaded materials, you may trademark your own work, or anything generated with Kittl AI.
Can you send your designs to print directly on Kittl?
Yes. With Kittl print, you can select your design to print on a number of products. Expert subscribers also save an extra percentage on each order.
