As designers, we understand how important smooth teamwork is to the creative process. That’s why we’re introducing real-time collaboration features in Kittl. Whether you’re sharing ideas with colleagues or refining designs with clients, these tools are built to make collaboration effortless.

Starting today, you can say goodbye to clunky workflows, endless file versions, and feedback delays. Every team member – whether across the room or across the globe – can work together seamlessly in the same design file, live.

How it works

1. Share your project

• Open the Share menu and select Invite to Project
• Add collaborators by entering their email addresses and choosing their permissions: viewer or editor.
• As the project owner, you can also remove collaborators from the modal.

2. Collaborate in real-time

• Once added as a collaborator, you can see all other collaborators in the top navbar, including their live cursors within the project.
• This live view ensures seamless teamwork, allowing everyone to work simultaneously on the same design.

3. Provide feedback with comments

• Switch to comment mode by selecting it from the top menu or pressing C.
• Entering comment mode opens the comment menu on the right-hand side, where you can view all active comment threads.
• Click on a comment thread to see its location in the project, or click on the comment marker in the editor to access the full thread.
• Leave comments at specific points on the canvas to ensure feedback is specific.

4. Need to present your work?

• Create and share presentations with Presentation Mode to review your designs.
• View Presentation from the Share menu to enter Presentation Mode.
• In Presentation Mode, you can see all comments on every artboard, making it easy to review feedback in a comprehensive view.
