A letter from our founder
Dear designers,
Today is a special day.
At Kittl, we’ve always been driven by a singular mission: to redefine graphic design. But this isn’t just a business statement – it’s a deeply personal promise.
From the very beginning, Kittl has been built for designers, by designers. It started with frustration, a feeling many of you know all too well. The endless juggling of tools that didn’t speak to one another. The rigid workflows that stifle creativity. The constant search for inspiration, only to feel boxed in by complicated interfaces and clunky processes.
We’ve been there.
When I was working as a professional graphic and type designer, I experienced these struggles firsthand. The hours lost to managing subscriptions, the inefficiency of switching between programs, the pressure of deadlines with no room for creative flow. And as a team, we heard the same story from designers all over the world – freelancers, small business owners, creative directors, marketers, and in-house teams.
The pain points weren’t just technical; they were emotional. Design tools often felt like obstacles instead of partners in the creative process.
We knew there had to be a better way.
Kittl was born from this frustration, but more importantly, from a love for design. We wanted to create something that would make designers’ lives easier, not harder. A platform that respects your craft and understands the realities of your work.
Over the years, we’ve worked relentlessly to refine that vision. We’ve listened to your feedback, studied your workflows, and obsessed over every detail. Today, we’re proud to unveil the most significant update in Kittl’s history – a solution built not just for your needs, but for your dreams.
We believe that the future of design is collaborative. Whether you’re part of a design team or a freelancer working with clients, you know that creativity doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s shaped by the people around you – the stakeholders, collaborators, and decision-makers who influence every project.
That’s why real-time collaboration is at the heart of this release.
For the first time, you can design alongside your team in the same project, in real time. Edit together. Leave comments. Share feedback. Make changes instantly. This isn’t just about faster workflows – it’s about bringing alignment, clarity, and creativity into every step of the design process.
With real-time collaboration, we’re breaking down the walls that separate designers and their teams.
Collaboration is just one part of the story. This release also brings tools designed to meet the standards of professional designers:
We created these tools to give you complete control, whether you’re designing a logo, crafting a brand identity, or creating large-scale marketing assets.
Over the past year we kept on returning to this thought: Only a designer can truly understand the needs of another designer.
This platform isn’t an outsider looking in. It’s built by people who’ve lived through the same challenges, felt the same frustrations, and dreamed of the same solutions.
We listen to our community because we are our community. Every tool we release, every feature we build, is a direct response to what we’ve learned from you. This isn’t about replacing designers with AI or cutting corners. It’s about giving you tools that enhance your creativity, not compromise it.
This is the start of something bigger than Kittl.
It’s about bringing joy back into the design process. It’s about creating tools that empower, not frustrate. It’s about building a platform where creativity can thrive, where your vision takes center stage, and where collaboration fuels innovation.
We built Kittl for you, and we’re just getting started.
So today, we invite you to explore the all-new Kittl. Try real-time collaboration. Experiment with the new tools. Share your feedback. Most importantly, make something extraordinary.
Together, we’re redefining design.
Welcome to Kittl’s next chapter.
