Eraser just got that magical touch: AI Erase & Fill!

Ever had the perfect image, except for one pesky object? Tried generating something new, re-working the prompt, trying to get to the same image without the object? Frustrating, and time consuming!

That's why we've upgraded the Eraser tool. Now, with the help of Generative AI, you can erase that object from your image, and let AI automatically fill the background for you.

How does it work?

We use a Generative AI model that can understand the context from the pixels surrounding a masked area. It can generate content that seamlessly fits the area, and blends into the overall image. It will become an essential tool in your image editing kit!

How to use it

• With your image selected, click on the Eraser in the toolbar - this will take you to the Eraser settings as normal
• Alternatively, if you're working with the Kittl Copilot, you'll see Erase & Fill as a quick action
• With the Eraser settings open, you can simply toggle on "Erase & Fill" before applying the eraser to your image
• Once you've erased the desired area in your image, you'll see a brief loading animation as the magic is applied
• Shortly afterwards the AI Generative fill will be applied to your image

Please note this works with the current Eraser tool, and given the AI technology used, we've found it works best with lower resolution images. If you have very high resolution images, you can still use it but we'll show a small alert just to let you know that we've detected a high resolution image, and quality might be affected.
