Introducing Kittl AI Image Generation v2.0 – More Power to the People

Back in September 2023, we wrote the ultimate guide to AI Image Generation. We introduced the concept of generative AI for image creation, and how designers might think about leveraging this powerful technology in their design workflows. Technology moves fast, and at Kittl we aim to always be bringing our community the latest and greatest tools; and here, we’re introducing a new version of Kittl AI Image Generator!

For our Image Generator v2.0, we’ve integrated OpenAI’s Dalle3 model. This brings several advantages to our design community. If you want to watch the magic happen, scroll down a bit to check out our video tutorial.

Detailed imagery like never before

The model is capable of generating extremely detailed, high definition and vivid imagery. It works best with detailed prompts. This means designers can get to their desired outcome more easily, by providing a detailed description of what they want to see.

We believe designers hold the unique creative vision, and an AI tool is there to help bring this to life. With Kittl AI Image Generator v2.0, you can tell it exactly what you imagine and let the magic unfold before you. 

What's more, if you want to include text in the generated image, the v2.0 model handles this better than we saw with v1.0.

New styles

With Kittl AI Image Generator v2.0, we’ve introduced some new Kittl Styles. These presets make it super easy for designers to refine the image generation by selecting a style template, same as you would with Image Generator v1.0. You can still find all of the old styles when using v1.0.

But, this new model has some specialties; it’s especially good at generating images in cartoon style, as well as mascots and emblems. It’s now easier than ever to create the perfect emblem for your brand, a fun cartoon vector for your t-shirts, or create a novel mascot to apply to your product range. 

New Sizes

Now sometimes, you might need more than just a square image. With Image Generator V2.0, we provide options for Landscape or Portrait aspect ratios, giving designers more control and flexibility to find the right image for the design. 

Getting started

We think Kittl AI Image Generator v2.0 is super powerful, creating endless possibilities for high quality design creation. That’s why we’ve made it the default model for Kittl AI Image Generation.

But sometimes it’s good to have a choice, because designers often become attuned to a certain style, or you might be working on a particular brief that demands something different. That’s why we’ve kept v1.0.

If you want to switch between the two models, or just try a side-by-side comparison, you can. Just navigate to the Settings cog next to the Prompt box, and switch between models.

Using Image Generation in your designs

How might you get the best from Kittl AI Image Generator v2.0? 

Consider the strengths we’ve listed above, and apply the controls that meet your needs (whether using a Kittl Style, or selecting a different aspect ratio). Think about what you want to make, and figure out how a generated image could fit your use case and brief. 

We think image generation can be a perfect accompaniment to a broader design, working as one element alongside a complimentary typeface and colour palette.

On the other hand, you might decide that the generated image is enough by itself. For example, you might need a hyper-realistic photography style image for some branding materials, or a clipart t-shirt graphic for your clothing brand.
