Clipping And Alpha Masks In Kittl
Unless you are a master at Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, it can be pretty frustrating to create a clipping mask or alpha mask. But in this video, I show you how to quickly do both. A clipping mask is the ability to clip an image or object inside of an object that is below it. In this video, I show you exactly how to clip a texture image solely to the logo design below it (without it spilling out all over the artboard). An Alpha mask is where you want the image or object above to be removed from the object below. For example. I show you how to take a cracked pavement image and "remove" all of the cracked streaks from the logo below, giving it a weathered or distressed look). It may sound complicated, but with Kittl it is super easy.
